ozonew4m	quality / quantity - 2007/06/06 12:14 Ive been thinking about getting into the buy to let game for a while but i was pondering if to go for quantity of rooms rather than quality of rooms.. for example.. I have my eye on two properties not far away from each other.. one has 6 quite small (in need of slight attention) rooms and the other has 3 very large (could move tenants in straight away) rooms.. now according to my estimates I would get roughly the same amount of rent for both properties when they are both in habital state but the one with 6 rooms would give me more options and more tenants. so my question really is.. Is it better to have more tennants with less rent or less tenants with more rent? its a conundrum.

cassiem0221	Re:quality / quantity - 2007/06/24 06:15 From speaking with the people here that are renting out homes, I would have to say that they all agree it is easier to rent a home with larger rooms than it is to rent a house with smaller rooms. I would always choose the larger rooms.
