They start small, and then as the capital grows through property investment, invest more. Also, once you have a certain amount, banks will quite probably give you a mortgage, depending on your circumstances.

cassiem0221	Re:howd u raise the money - 2007/06/15 09:40 My husband and I have discussed getting into the rental business. If we decide to do so, we will start out with the home we currently live in. Once this home is paid for, which will be within the next year or so, we will simply purchase our new home and rent this one out. This way, we really aren't investing any actual cash. This home will be paid for, so that we are not out any money to get started.
